 ‘As for you, you were dead in   your transgressions and sins, in   which you used to live when you   followed the ways of this   world...’  Ephesians 2.1-2

  This is the hard truth that confronts   us: when our allegiance was with the   world, and when our will bowed to   the ways of the devil, truly we were   considered dead in our   transgressions.  No hope of eternal   life; the prospect of being forever   separated from God was our destiny   waiting to happen. If we think that   life on earth is a big challenge in   itself, we should consider eternity   without God’s presence!
