THE WAY OF WISDOM

One of the most powerful truths of Scripture is that we have a Choice. When God created humans, He decided to give us the rational ability to think as well as the freedom to decide the course to take for our life. Whether in big or small decisions, we have the power to choose. And we can either choose the Way of Wisdom or the Way of Foolishness.
But how can we mere humans gain wisdom? How can we attain knowledge and understanding for life? That is where the Word of God, the Bible, comes in. And there is no better place in Scripture to find Wisdom than in the Book of Proverbs.
Proverbs 1:1-5
The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel, for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right, just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young; let the wise listen, and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.
