LIGHTHOUSE: We Are Family!

‘So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. We are His house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus Himself. We who believe are carefully joined together, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. Through Him you Gentiles are also joined together as part of this dwelling where God lives by His Spirit.’ Ephesians 2.19-22 NLT

21 Years. Hundreds of Families, brought together into ONE FAMILY under the watchful eye of God Almighty, the Loving Father of this household.

In this one family, we are all brothers and sisters bound together by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. We are one household held together by God's Word revealed through the Apostles and Prophets. We are God's temple, His holy dwelling indwelt by His Holy Spirit.

The Lighthouse Family is like any human family, composed of men and women, adults, teens and children, singles and marrieds, young and old. We come from different walks of life and every season of life. Yet we all worship One God our Father, share One Faith in Christ, empowered by One Holy Spirit, and guided by One Word, the Bible.

Just like any family, we too have 'dads and moms.' These are our Pastors and Elders, who together with their wives ensure the continued health and growth of our family. But they are not the only ones who do the work. In this Lighthouse Family, everyone shares the responsibility of carrying the collective load. We do this through our Serving, Giving, Teaching, Witnessing and Fellowshipping. Indeed, our Lighthouse Family has grown 'as each part does its work' (Ephesians 4.16).

The Lighthouse Family extends beyond just one church to many churches nationwide. We also have Lighthouse OFWs, members who have gone abroad to work and continue to support, not just their physical family, but their spiritual family as well. Our family also extends to 'cousins,' churches that bear a different name but share the same DNA, and who 'drink from the fountain' of Lighthouse through our seminars and conferences.

I have been part of the Lighthouse Family practically from its inception. I have grown (in more ways than one) with this family, and I can truly say with all my heart, I LOVE MY LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY! I am sure you can say the same!
